STARS JOIN KATHERINE JENKINS AND RAYMOND BLANC TO CELEBRATE LAUNCH OF MARTELL VERY SPECIAL NIGHTS

Multi-platinum selling singer Katherine Jenkins and Michelin-starred Chef Raymond Blanc co-hosted a drinks reception last night (28 October) to celebrate the launch of Martell Very Special Nights.
More than 60 guests, including stars from film, TV and music and our Maison Martell Competition winners, attended an exclusive drinks reception held at the Le Caprice restaurant to celebrate the launch of Martell Very Special Nights ahead of the public events in January and July 2014. The guest list included Dominic West from The Wire, Tom Cullen from Downton Abbey, Chef Gizzi Erskine and Dan Gillespie from The Feeling as well as host and stars of the Martell Very Special Nights series, Katherine Jenkins and Raymond Blanc.
Guests were treated to an intimate performance by Katherine Jenkins, delicious canapés by Raymond Blanc including Salmon & Lime Tartar, Plancha Seared Yellowfin Tuna with Cucumber and Wasabi Jelly and Braised Oxtail Tartlet and the finest cocktails by Martell Cognac.
Katherine Jenkins commented: “It’s been a pleasure performing tonight at Le Caprice in front of such an appreciative audience. I’m very much looking forward to working closely with Martell and Raymond Blanc for the upcoming Martell Very Special Nights events in January and July”.
Raymond Blanc added: “I believe food, music and drink are the heartbeat of any special night; tonight even more so. Co-hosting tonight's event with Katherine Jenkins was exciting and magical and she has the voice of an Angel”.
