This cocktail compliments the richness of Martell Cordon Bleu Cognac. Amer Picon adds a lovely bitter note, paired against the maraschino liqueur.
Rich Woods, aka The Cocktail Guy
- 50ml Martell Cordon Bleu Cognac
- 20ml Sweet Vermouth
- 15ml Amer Picon
- 2tsp Maraschino Liqueur
- 1 Dash Orange Bitters
- Garnish: Pinch of freshly grated blood orange zest on top of ice.
Stir all ingredients with ice until the liquid is icy cold, and then serve over ice in a large coupette or martini glass.
Notes: Amer Picon is a bitter-sweet aperitif. It can be tricky to find but you can pick up this great ingredient at specialist spirit shops or online at The Whiskey Exchange or Amazon.
