Return to the Belle Epoque in Paris, with Maison Martell.
French artist Pierre Marie has teamed up with Martell to design an exclusive, limited edition bottle and box of Martell Cordon Bleu Extra that celebrates the Belle Epoque era renowned for its elegance and style.
The cognac is available exclusively at a pop-up inside the famous Galeries Lafayette Paris department store, where visitors will find an immersive digital experience.
Come visit Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann from 30 October to 14 November 2021 (Coupole – 1st floor), and subsequently Galeries Lafayette Shanghai.
Pierre Marie’s bottle design celebrates the famous Belle Epoque era, during which the Eiffel Tower was constructed for the 1900 Paris Exposition, and Edouard Martell unveiled his iconic Martell Cordon Bleu (in 1912).
Martell Cordon Bleu Extra pays tribute to Martell Cordon Bleu, the House icon in a way that’s smooth and sensual, intense and harmonious.
To the taste, Martell Cordon Bleu Extra is round and mellow, with a luscious, lingering finish distinguished by notes of candied orange peel.
Pierre Marie is an artist and ornamentist famous for his exquisitely detailed designs that fuse references to ancestral craft techniques, with contemporary visual codes.
In this latest collaboration, his joyful and poetic illustration on the bottle and accompanying box depicts Martell Cordon Bleu Extra diffusing its aromas over the City of Light among the most emblematic Parisian monuments.
