The rabbit personified: an exceptional blend

For Martell Cellar Master Christophe Valtaud, the challenge was to enrich L’Or de Jean Martell without altering its essence, highlighting the rabbit's character. He enhanced L'Or de Jean Martell 1715 remarkable blend with eight very old eaux-de-vie from previous Rabbit Years. It required several months’ work and outstanding expertise to preserve the elegance, richness and power of L’Or de Jean Martell 1715, while adding the softness, finesse and endurance associated with the rabbit.

The Zodiac Edition is presented in the magnificent crystal carafe of L’Or de Jean Martell, exquisitely decorated with a gold filigree motif evoking the year’s zodiac animal surrounded by grapevines. The stopper of the carafe is a sculptural representation of the animal crafted by the renowned French crystal manufacturer Daum. Each piece is signed and completely unique.
