Martell will celebrate its 300th anniversary around the world with the announcement of Diane Kruger as the brand’s ambassador.
The best of today’s French Art de Vivre
On 15th April, the internationally-acclaimed actress and self-confessed Francophile Diane Kruger, who personifies the very essence of modern-day French Art de Vivre, elegance and style, was announced as the Ambassador of Martell Cognac’s 300th anniversary this year.
To celebrate her appointment to the project, Mary McCartney has shot a stunning shoot of Diane in Le Grand Trianon at the Palace of Versailles.
Martell will be hosting a spectacular celebration at the birthplace of French Art de Vivre, the Palace of Versailles, on 20th May. 300 VIP guests of Martell will also be in attendance at the event.
As the very oldest of the great cognac houses, Martell’s 300th anniversary will be transformed into a vibrant and festive year of celebration where ordinary moments of gastronomy, tasting and craftsmanship will be turned into extraordinary pleasures.
Martell 300 local celebrations
Martell’s 300th anniversary has already been celebrated in Vietnam and in Malaysia. Many more local events in more than 30 cities are to come in the next few months.
The heart of Martell
Martell will also return to its home in Cognac, where the brand is renovating the historical site of Gâtebourse, the emblematic location of the House, and opening itself up to the town to reveal its historical, industrial and architectural heritage.
Alongside this project, Martell will present an innovative exhibition, "Martell dans la Cité" (Martell in the City), with the City of Cognac and the Cognac Patrimoine association, from September 2015 at the Cognac Museum of Art and History.
