Choose one out of the 3 citrus zests below to add a twist to your drink. Lemon zest Lime zest Grapefruit zest
Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
Shake well until the metal frosts.
Strain into a cocktail glass.
Finish your drink with the zest of your choice
Invented in France, most probably at the Carlton Hotel in Cannes on the French Riviera. It was soon a hit in London and by 1922 the recipe had appeared in Robert Vermeire’s classic Cocktails - How to Mix Them.
