The legendary cognac Martell Cordon Bleu is an international emblem of excellence. Ideal for special occasions, the taste of this French cognac is an explosion of spicy fruit notes and elegant richness.
Cognac 700 ml bottle
“When I visited Maison Martell in Cognac, I was fascinated to discover the archives, and in particular the illustrated posters which were used in advertising campaigns”
Deep, golden copper.
Vibrant, rich and complex, with orchard fruit – candied plum and apple – harmonising with roasted notes of mocha coffee, toasted almonds and vetiver.
An exceptionally rounded, mellow sensation further enhanced by Borderies eaux-de-vie, which lend elegance and complexity. An impressively long finish characterised by notes of fruit and spices.
For the 2020 festive season, Maison Martell is renewing its Martell Exclusives initiative, bringing together an international trio of creative talents to reinterpret three emblematic products as part of a limited-edition gifting collection.
Renowned for his exquisitely detailed designs which fuse references to ancestral craft techniques with contemporary visual codes, artist and ornamentist Pierre Marie reinterpreted House icon Martell Cordon Bleu. The design, accompanied by a specially composed poem, is entitled The Vine and the Oak. An intricate tracery of leaves and shoots in rich shades of red and gold evokes the “love affair” between the vine and the oak from which cognac is born.
Martell Straight Serve
This ritual allows drinkers the opportunity to have their drink either straight, diluted with a dash of water, or on the rocks in a theatrical fashion, by serving the Martell beside an ice bowl.
1 rocks glass with ice dish on top; 1 pouring glass containing a serve of Martell Cordon Bleu; 1 ice bowl and tongs holding a few cubes of ice / ice block.
Ideal for special occasions. Best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water.
