The distinctive feature of L’Or de Jean Martell is the encounter between eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne – one of the four main Cognac crus, known to produce structured and powerful eaux-de-vie with an ageing potential of over 40 years – and the Borderies – the smallest and therefore most sought-after terroir in the Cognac region – which create a blend of elegance, richness and power.
L’Or de Jean Martell reveals an intense amber hue with mahogany highlights. Its rich aromas blend blackcurrant, honey, and roasted cocoa beans. On the palate, a silky texture unfolds into exceptional length.
L’Or de Jean Martell is presented in a hand-crafted crystal decanter, whose shape evokes a drop enclosing and protecting the cognac. Decorated individually, each decanter is handblown using time-honoured skills which combine technical mastery with a feeling for the material. Sparkling with purity, its curves are embellished with gildedgarlands – subtle allusions to the elegant French classical style.
