Women shaping culture at afrobeats live
A bold new edition dedicated to the women redefining the genre’s sound, style, and global influence.
Martell’s Afrobeats Live returned to Paris in October 2025!
Building on the success of its June debut, this second chapter placed women at the heart of Afrobeats’ global movement — spotlighting the executives, creatives, and storytellers driving its continued evolution across Africa, the U.S., and beyond.
Hosted by Martell Cultural Ambassador Sheniece Charway, the evening brought together influential voices such as Thulani Keupilwe (Lawk Communications), Rima Tahini (Mavin Global), Vannessa Amadi-Ogbonna, Abi Babalola (Hera Touring), and Temi Adeniji (Warner Music Africa). Through two insightful panels, they shared candid perspectives on leadership, innovation, and collaboration within today’s music industry.
A fireside chat featuring Ronami Ogulu, COO of Spaceship Collective, in conversation with media personality Zeze Millz, offered a rare glimpse into what it takes to build a truly global artist brand.
More than an evening of conversation, Afrobeats Live by Martell Cognac continues to unite artists, managers, and cultural leaders shaping the next chapter of the genre. The event reaffirmed Martell’s enduring commitment to celebrating cultural pioneers and inspiring a new generation — blending the world of music and the art of fine cognac with a bold spirit of excellence.
